VAINGLORY: New Audio Interview With KATE FRENCH Available

An audio interview with VAINGLORY singer Kate French (CHASTAIN) conducted by DJ SpeedKing of "The Wake Up Dead Morning Show" is available for download and streaming as a podcast/MP3 file at this location.

VAINGLORY recently parted ways with guitarist John Michael Youngblood. An as-yet-undisclosed replacement has already been found.

VAINGLORY has commenced the songwriting process for its new album, due sometime in 2008. "All I can say is [the new material] will knock you out!" King previously said. "It's way beyond heavy and has riffs that will kill you!"

VAINGLORY's self-titled CD was released in Europe in April 2007 via MTM Music.

According to a press release, VAINGLORY "has all the ingredients in place to be a major force on the metal market for years to come. Kate's ability to mix power, conviction, emotion, and true heavy metal singing is very uncommon in today's 'metal' vocalists. Kate is a veteran to heavy metal and has not only pushed beyond the normal bounds of female vocalists, but has delivered her best recorded performance to date on this CD."
